Week 7 - wheat

While my hubby is stuck inside with allergies, I've done some research on the price of wheat.

In May 2006 wheat cost $193.17 per metric ton. In May 2011, wheat cost $334.47 per metric ton.

So over the last 5 years wheat has increased in cost almost 58%.

Just an interesting fact. If you bought your food storage wheat 5 years ago - your investment has gone up almost 58%.
